Hon Mark Mitchell: I expect any prisoner using violence is held to account. This may be through internal misconduct charges, a change in security classification, or referral to Police for consideration of criminal prosecution. I refer the member to the attached table for a breakdown of prisoner-on-prisoner assaults reported at Mt Eden Corrections Facility between 1 August 2024 and 31 July 2025, broken down by category of assault.
