Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (the Ministry) that between 27 November 2023 and 1 August 2025, four infringement notices were issued by New Zealand Police for speeding offences involving Ministry-owned vehicles: • 10 August 2024 – fine of $30.00, paid by the driver. • 11 February 2025 – fine of $30.00, paid by the driver. • 28 March 2025 - fine of $80.00, paid by the driver. • 27 July 2025 – fine of $120.00, paid by the driver.
