42036 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Attorney-General: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, what are the total costs of staff redundancies, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Judith Collins: The total costs of redundancies at the Parliamentary Counsel Office between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024 was $110,000. The redundancies were the result of a team review in relation to the final workstream of the PCO's Business Transformation Programme. For Crown Law, the total costs of staff redundancies paid for this period was $104,000.
