42009 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, what are the total costs of staff redundancies, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that at WorkSafe New Zealand, the total cost of staff redundancies related to change during the period outlined above is $5,543.67. There were additional costs related to staff redundancies paid out in this period that were related to change and decisions prior to the dates as outlined above. As for MBIE I refer the member to the Minister responsible for MBIE WPQ reply 41643 (2024).
