Hon David Seymour: The attached tables provide a breakdown of travel spend by date, destination, and cabin class. I am advised that the primary reason for NHC’s international travel is engagement with reinsurers and investors in connection with NHC’s reinsurance programme, which provides significant cover ($10.3 billion for 2025-2026) for the scheme and the Crown's balance sheet against catastrophic natural hazard events. Securing reinsurance is a critical function for NHC as set out in its legislation.
