41971 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Transport: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, what are the total costs of staff redundancies, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Simeon Brown: "MoT: There have been no redundancies at the Ministry of Transport and as such no demographic data has been collected. CAA: There has been one redundancy payment relating to change in this period therefore for privacy reasons we have provided the payment range. $35-$45K. NZTA: The total cost of redundancies for employees between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024 was $1.56 million. This figure excluded people receiving medical redundancy."
