Lemauga Lydia Sosene to the Minister of Customs: How many, if any, infringement notices issued by the New Zealand Police have been issued to any vehicle owned and/or operated by each department or entity that the Minister is responsible for from November 27th 2023 to August 1st 2025; listed by infringement type, date, fine, and whether the fine was paid by the individual driving the vehicle or by the department/entity?

Hon Casey Costello: I refer the Member to the attached appendix which provides a breakdown of infringement notices, all of which were speeding infringements, issued by the New Zealand Police between the period 27 November 2023 to 1 August 2025, to vehicles owned by the New Zealand Customs Service, broken down by date of offence and fine issued. I am advised that all tickets were paid by the individual driving the vehicle at the time of the offence.
