41941 (2025). Lemauga Lydia Sosene to the Minister of Corrections: How many international flights in total, if any, counting each leg of a journey as an individual flight, has each department or entity that the Minister is responsible for paid for in the period from November 27th 2023 to August 1st 2025; and what was the total cost broken down by month, destination, cabin class and the purpose of the flight?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that international travel costs for the 2023/2024 financial year are recorded on page 140 of Corrections’ 2023/2024 Annual Review, which is publicly available at the following link: https://www.parliament.nz/resource/en-NZ/54SCJUST_EVI_f9db549a-17f5-414b-6507-08dcfd0f043f_JUST34828/5a7ea2f83452d54530c2c8ca243e5beaab894bb7 I am further advised that information for the 2024/2025 financial year will be reported in the 2024/2025 Annual Review that will be provided to the Justice Committee in November, and subsequently published on Parliament’s website.
