Arena Williams to the Minister of Housing: Further to his reply to Question 38059 (2025), how much of the $100 million taken from the Kāinga Ora budget in Budget 2025 was allocated to provide additional support for the Early-Stage Operating Supplement for Community Housing Providers and what is the purpose of that scheme?

Hon Chris Bishop: From the reprioritised $100 million taken from Kāinga Ora’s budget in Budget 2025, $42 million was allocated to provide additional support for the Early-Stage Operating Supplement for CHPs. This programme is designed to support CHPs in meeting existing commitments for social housing delivery.
