41886 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister of Housing: Further to his reply to Question 38059 (2025), how much of the $435 million taken from the Kāinga Ora budget in Budget 2024 was allocated to boost core services in Vote Housing and Urban development and how does that break down by each of the services boosted?

Hon Chris Bishop: $140 million in operating funding was allocated to fund 1,500 new social housing places with delivery to be phased from 1 July 2025 onwards. These places will be delivered by Community Housing Providers.
