41841 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Māori Development: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, how many staff, if any, have been or are planned to be made redundant, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that as part of the Fiscal Sustainability and Effectiveness change process, affected employees were given the opportunity to express interest in redundancy as a preferred option. I am further advised that 11 employees have or are set to be made redundant. All of these employees expressed an interest in redundancy.
