41647 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for the Environment: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, what demographic data is being collected about the number of staff being made redundant, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Penny Simmonds: Consultation with staff on the proposed new structure for the Ministry for the Environment closed on the 2 July 2024. The Ministry is considering staff feedback on the proposed structure prior to final decisions. The Ministry is unable to confirm whether there will be any redundancies prior to the conclusion of the decision-making process and the implementation of the new structure. However, demographic data such as age, gender, length of service is held by the Ministry for the Environment.
