41579 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister of Housing: Did Kāinga Ora obtain more than one independent valuation of the Dixon Street Flats prior to the sale, and if so, what were the results of each valuation?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that they received a market valuation on 30 January 2025 for 134 Dixon St as follows: • Market valuation as if complete fully refurbished and seismically strengthened to 70% NBS $55 million including GST if any. • Market valuation as if complete with minimal upgrade excl seismic strengthening $28.25 million including GST if any. • Market value as is $4.51 million including GST if any. • Market value as is based on redevelopment potential with heritage listing removed $4.7 million including GST if any. • Market value as is no RFR $4.51 million including GST if any.
