41572 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister of Housing: Was Kāinga Ora advised on potential redevelopment opportunities (e.g. housing, mixed-use, commercial) that might have been available if it retained the land occupied by the Dixon Street Flats, if so, what were the findings of that advice?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities could not consider this as the building is a Category 1 historic building meaning it cannot be demolished.
