41475 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Local Government: What total amount, if any, is budgeted within their agencies’ baselines, if any, for board member fee increases over the next 12 months, broken down by entity and month?

Hon Simon Watts: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs (the Department) that fee increases have not been specifically budgeted for over the next 12 months. Any fee increases that occur would be paid from existing baseline funding, and the ability to cover any increase would be considered at the time of reviewing fees. Any increases in fees paid to board members would be determined by a fees review. I am further advised that the Department is unable to predetermine the results of any future review.
