41432 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, what demographic data is being collected about the number of staff being made redundant, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Judith Collins: As Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology (SI&T), I have no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. With regard to agencies under the SI&T portfolio, demographic data is collected in regular cycles. This information includes gender, ethnicity, and location data, however this information for these specific roles is not yet readily available.
