Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Attorney-General: What briefings or advice, if any, has the Minister received on the fiscal implications of redundancies in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, (where applicable within their portfolio), listed by title and date, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Judith Collins: No briefings or advice was provided to the Minister between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024 for Parliamentary Counsel Office in relation to the redundancies made during the same period. For Crown Law, the Minister was informed of the impacts of workforce reduction as part of the Initial Baseline Exercise. Following on from the Initial Baseline Exercise, further detail has been provided to the Minister.
