Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, what percentage of employees who have lost or are set to lose their roles, if any, are located in the Canterbury Region, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand has not identified any percentage of employees who have lost or are set to lose their roles, located in the Canterbury Region within the dates outlined above. As for MBIE I refer the member to the Minister responsible for MBIE WPQ reply 41033 (2024).
