Lan Pham to the Minister of Local Government: Has the Government modelled, or received advice on, which councils would have been granted exemptions for ‘exceptional’ circumstances for ‘natural disasters’ had the rates cap model announced on 25 August 2026 been in place during the past three years; if so, what councils would have been granted exceptional circumstance exemptions for natural disasters; if the Government has no such modelling or advice, why has it not been requested?
