41332 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Police: How many board fee reviews, if any, are planned for entities under their responsibility, if any, in the next 12 months, and what is the estimated total cost of those reviews and potential fee changes, broken down by entity?
Hon Mark Mitchell: The only relevant board-governed entity identified by Police is the Next Generation Communications Centre (NGCC). I am advised that the NGCC has no review for board fees planned over the next 12 months. In the past 12 months. the NGCC appointed one person in October 2024, with the total cost of the appointment being $595, which was incurred through advertising. Recruitment is currently underway to fill one board vacancy. The fees for this position are budgeted within the NGCC’s existing allocation, at a rate of $800 per bi-monthly meeting and $400 for board meeting preparation. I am further advised that the NGCC has not increased any board member fees, nor has it completed any board fee reviews, in the past 12 months. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Questions 41335, 41338, 41352, and 41353 (2025).
