Hon Tama Potaka: Appointments requiring Cabinet consideration that fall within my ministerial responsibilities are announced and made publicly available on the Beehive.govt.nz website. I am advised that the support and advice provided by officials to assist me in my decision making relating to appointments is a core departmental activity and funded from within baseline appropriations and so is not tracked separately. Over the next 12 months I anticipate I will consider appointments to several entities. Given the complexity of the processes involved it is not feasible to specify precise dates as to when these processes will be completed.
