41301 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Internal Affairs: How many appointments, if any, are planned by their agencies, if any, over the next 12 months, and what is the total amount budgeted for those appointments, broken down by agency and month?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I refer the member to Appendix A below, which indicates the number of roles that, I am advised, will likely need to be filled due to vacancies or terms of appointment expiring within the next 12 months for the statutory bodies I am responsible for as the Minister of Internal Affairs. Appendix A also shows the fees that are paid to each member of each agency, on an hourly, daily or annual basis, and the approximate amount of time required by each role. The Treasury Governance and Appointments Team manage Lotto New Zealand Lotto board appointments centrally as a division of the Treasury and the cost of these appointments is not captured by individual entity.
