41261 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Finance: How many board fee reviews, if any, are planned for entities under their responsibility, if any, in the next 12 months, and what is the estimated total cost of those reviews and potential fee changes, broken down by entity?

Hon Nicola Willis: The Treasury (Governance and Appointments) conducted the three yearly review of board fees for Crown entities under the Crown Company Fees Methodology in 2024, as prescribed by the methodology. Cabinet approved the fee increase recommendations in October 2024, effective from 1 January 2025. All increases are paid from the entities revenue. See other question for details by entity. A review for one entity under the Public Services Commission Framework has been completed. Natural Hazard Commission fees have been reviewed and approved with an increase effective 1 July 2025. RBNZ Board remuneration is set by the Remuneration Authority.
