Written Question
Published date: 24 Jul 2024
41261 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Police: What briefings or advice, if any, has the Minister received on the fiscal implications of redundancies in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, (where applicable within their portfolio), listed by title and date, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?
Hon Mark Mitchell: Titles of advice I have received are proactively released periodically on Police's website.
In regard to the Serious Fraud Office, I have received one briefing on the proposed cost saving measures:
• 9 February 2024 - ‘Budget 2024 Submission Documents for Review’.
The Serious Fraud Office is not currently consulting on any proposals which would result in the loss of jobs or staff redundancies.
As of 15 July 2024, the Serious Fraud Office is conducting an organisational efficiency and effectiveness review that includes considering any roles that may be disestablished and what vacancies will not be filled, if any.
