41121 (2025). Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Minister of Conservation: Further to his reply to Question 33896 (2025), how many of the 248 permission applications that were more than a year old at 28 February 2025, if any, have been closed and how many of those were approved, declined or withdrawn?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises the 248 applications referred to in the response to WPQ 33896 (2025) were closed by 1 June 2025. I refer the Member to the following breakdown: • Approved: 200 • Declined: 12 • Returned: 2 • Withdrawn: 28 • On-hold at 1 June 2025 due to cross-over with Fast-track project applications: 6 (note: one of these Fast-track cross-over applications was later withdrawn).
