Lan Pham to the Minister of Conservation: Following 38349 (2026), what guidance or direction, if any, has the Minister provided to the Department of Conservation for how they exercise delegated authority over access arrangement decisions for mines and/or mining operations under this term of Government?

Hon Tama Potaka: The only guidance or direction I have provided to the Department of Conservation regarding the exercise of my delegated authority over access arrangement decisions for mines and/or mining operations is that mining related applications should be processed within six months of being lodged.
