41074 (2026). Lan Pham to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: What correspondence or meetings, if any, did the Minister have with Under-Secretary Simon Court about the contents of his Amendment Paper 710 to the Natural Environment Bill, prior to its introduction?

Hon Chris Bishop: Under-Secretary Court and I meet and communicate regularly on matters relating to the Planning Bill and Natural Environment Bill as per our portfolio delegations. To identify and collate every meeting or communication that I have had with Under-Secretary Court relating to matters covered in the Amendment Paper this information would take substantial effort and collation. In accordance with SR 210/6 I consider that the time, and hence the expense, of answering this question cannot be justified in this case
