Hon Simeon Brown: As Minister of Energy, I have no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. In respect of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, I refer the Member to the Minister for Economic Development’s answer to written parliamentary question 41033 (2024). With regard to Crown entities under the energy portfolio, I am advised that there was nothing received from the EA. The below was received from EECA: • EECA MEMO 160: Details on EECA’s most recent organisational change process, dated 15 April 2024. (n.b, this memo does not explicitly mention dollars but states reduction in FTEs) • EECA 2023-224 Third Quarter Report to the Minister for Energy, sent on 30 April 2024. (n.b this report does not explicitly mention dollars, nor the number of FTEs being reduced, but states that a restructure has commenced). • EECA Fortnightly Report to the Minister for Energy, dated 22 March 2024. (n.b this report does not explicitly mention dollars but states reduction in FTEs). • Additionally, my office was consulted on two OIA responses, where the draft consultation document and/or the final organisation change document were requested. The dates of these consultations are 26 March, and 05 May 2024.
