41016 (2025). Vanushi Walters to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: Does the New Zealand government agree with the 21 August 2025 "Joint Statement of Foreign Ministers on E1 plans", and if not, what elements does it not agree with?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: Yes. New Zealand has consistently opposed the establishment of Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and has long held the view that the settlements are illegal under international law.
