40959 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Finance: Did she meet with the acting Governor of the Reserve Bank on 20 August, if so, when?

Hon Nicola Willis: The Minister of Finance and the Governor had a short phone call on 20 August, 12:00pm. This is a scheduled courtesy call, providing the Minister with a heads-up on the Official Cash Rate (OCR), after the Monetary Policy Committee has made its decision but just prior to press release. It has been in place for many years and through different governments.
