40956 (2026). Tākuta Ferris to the Minister of Conservation: Are purchasing arrangements for the Poulvac Flufend RG vaccine made by the Department of Conservation (DOC) through the Ministry for Primary Industries, or does DOC directly purchase these vaccines?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that the Department of Conservation directly orders the vaccine required for the approved H5 bird flu vaccination programme from the distributor, who provides this free of charge.
