Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I met with the acting Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Christian Hawkesby, on 18 August 2025 at 5:30pm. We had a wide-ranging conversation on recent developments in the New Zealand economy and the forward macroeconomic outlook.
