40863 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: What briefings or advice, if any, has the Minister received on the fiscal implications of redundancies in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, (where applicable within their portfolio), listed by title and date, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). DPMC also hosts the functional Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery. In my capacity as the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I am not the Minister responsible for the Vote. The Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for the Vote. I refer the Member to the Prime Minister’s response to Written Parliamentary Question 41414 (2024).
