40842 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Immigration: Is the Minister aware of how many Israeli Defense Force soldiers have visited New Zealand since October 2023 and if so, how many, listed by date and visa type and if not why not?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that it is not possible to provide the number of Israeli Defence Force Soldiers who have visited New Zealand since October 2023. Israel is a visa waiver country. People visiting New Zealand from visa waiver countries for a temporary stay require a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA), but do not normally need to apply for a visa. The NZeTA application form does not contain military service questions.
