40774 (2025). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How many, if any, workplace fatalities were reported to WorkSafe during the week of August 18th 2025?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand received four notifications of fatal harm from 18 August 2025 to 24 August 2025. These notifications are currently being assessed to establish if they are work-related.
