40749 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Associate Minister of Education: How many lunches that were meant to serve specific dietary or religious needs did not meet those needs during the week of August 18th 2025?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised that the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) does not track lunches across all suppliers and internal meal providers in the programme on a weekly basis. During the week of 18 August 2025, the School Lunch Collective delivered 489,197 lunches. Of these, the Ministry was not advised of any inappropriate ingredients included in the meals supplied for specific dietary or religious needs.
