40713 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Health: How many hours of overtime, if any, have been worked by nurses in the public health system in the past 12 months?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that this specific retrospective data, as requested by the Member, is not currently held in an easily reportable format by Health New Zealand. I do not consider it to be in the public interest to divert staff from essential services to undertake a substantial collation exercise.
