Hon Matt Doocey: Corrected reply: I am advised that four positions have been disestablished within Maritime New Zealand resulting in one redundancy. These roles worked in regulation, operational policy and maritime security. I am further advised that due to the nature of Maritime New Zealand’s work as a regulatory and response agency no programmes have been cancelled as a result of these savings.
