40631 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Local Government: When, if ever, do the Minister's departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, intend to review board pay to align with Cabinet Circular CO (25) 2?

Hon Simon Watts: As the Minister of Local Government, I can advise that the Water Services Authority | Taumata Arowai Board fees have been reviewed and that, on 12 August 2025, I agreed to the proposed increase. I am advised that the fees for the Local Government Commission | Mana Kāwanatanga ā Rohe Board will be reviewed as a part of the current appointment round.
