40616 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Economic Growth: How much, if any, has the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted for the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025/26 financial year?

Hon Nicola Willis: With regard to the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment, I am advised that a total of $54,000 was budgeted for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme for the 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026 financial year, $42,000 of this amount is budgeted for emissions measurement and reporting, and $12,000 is for annual audit and verification. With regard to New Zealand Growth Capital Partners, I am advised there was no spending on the Carbon Neutral Government Programme.
