40579 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Does Health New Zealand collect nationally consistent data on ED diversion and redirection offers and uptake, and if not, when, if at all, will it begin doing so?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised Health New Zealand does not collect nationally consistent data on ED diversion and redirection offers and uptake. I am further advised nationally consistent ED redirection data is expected to be available in FY2027/28.
