40515 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Justice: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2024/25 financial year?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Ministry of Justice spent $6,760.50 on an emissions audit as per the requirement of the Carbon Neutral Government Programme. The Ministry spent $1,590.00 to carry out an annual waste audit at the Justice Centre. Therefore, a total of $8,350.50 was spent in 2024/25. I am advised that the Crown Entities for which I am the responsible Minister no funding has been spent on the Carbon Neutral Government Programme.
