40512 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Justice: How much, if any, has the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted for the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025/26 financial year?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Ministry of Justice has budgeted for an emissions audit as per the requirement of the Carbon Neutral Government Programme at a cost of $8,053.00. There is a budget of $1,700.00 to carry out an annual waste audit at the Justice Centre. Therefore, a total of $9,753.00 has been allocated. I am advised that the Crown Entities for which I am the responsible Minister no funding has been budgeted for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme.
