40506 (2026). Scott Willis to the Minister of Finance: What data has Treasury collected so far on interest rates and terms actually offered under settled Gas Transition Loan Guarantee Scheme loans, compared to standard commercial lending?

Hon Nicola Willis: The Gas Transition Loan Guarantee Scheme commenced on 31 July 2026. Lenders are required to report monthly on settled supported loans during the Availability Period, which runs from 31 July 2026 to 30 June 2029. The first return, for the month ending 31 August 2026, is not yet due. As a result, I am advised the Treasury does not currently hold the data needed to answer this question.
