40497 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Housing: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2024/25 financial year?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that in the 2024/25 financial year it spent approximately 0.25 FTE to undertake its emissions inventory and $55,000 plus GST for the annual emissions inventory audit. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development spent $13,020 on the programme in 2024/25. This is made up of $8,400 membership fee, and $4,620 for audit and certification.
