40495 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Associate Minister of Health: When, if ever, do the Minister's departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, intend to review board pay to align with Cabinet Circular CO (25) 2?

Hon David Seymour: As the Minister responsible for Pharmac, in December 2024 I approved the reclassification of Pharmac under the framework outlined in Cabinet Office Circular CO (22) 2: Revised Fees Framework for Members Appointed to Bodies in Which the Crown Has an Interest. Specifically, Pharmac has been reclassified from a Group 3a, Level 3 body to a Group 3a, Level 2 body. This decision follows a comprehensive assessment against the criteria set out in the Fees Framework and reflects the significant growth and increasing complexity of Pharmac’s operations in recent years.
