40490 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Housing: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, how many employees, if any, have lost or are set to lose their roles, and provide a service to customers, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development does not have any roles that are customer-facing and therefore no redundancies resulting from change processes will directly impact services to customers. Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that as at 10 July 2024 no roles have been disestablished for employees that provide a direct service to customers.
