40478 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Finance: When, if ever, do the Minister's departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, intend to review board pay to align with Cabinet Circular CO (25) 2?

Hon Nicola Willis: Board fee reviews for any body that I am responsible for will be assessed in line with the requirements of the Cabinet Fees Framework, considering entity performance, and market benchmarks for entities of equivalent size and complexity. The remuneration for the RBNZ Board is set by the Remuneration Authority not under the Cabinet Fees Framework. See section 43, RBNZ Act 2021.
