40464 (2026). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Prime Minister: How much, if any, did the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet spend on international mobile roaming charges for staff or officials travelling to, attending, or returning from the 55th Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting held in Koror, Palau, from 31 August to 3 September 2026?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). I am advised that no international roaming charges were incurred by DPMC staff, as New Zealand mobile networks do not support roaming in Palau.
