40464 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, how many employees, if any, have lost or are set to lose their roles, and provide a service to customers, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that these decisions are the responsibility of the relevant Chief Executive. Furthermore, I am advised that the organisational change process the Ministry of Health has not yet concluded. I am also advised by Health New Zealand that due to the way the information on these processes is recorded, it is not possible to determine specifics of the role, such as the service provided.
